I'm sure that's how Steve would have wanted to go, well if not in bed in the arms of a beautiful woman, then out in nature doing what he loved best.
Speaking of living a life of one's dreams, last night I watched the Anthony Hopkins movie "The World's Fastest Indian". For those who don't know, Hopkins portrays real-life New Zealander Burt Munro, whose dream it was to race his Indian Scout motor bike during Speedweek at the Bonneville Flats in Utah during the late 1960's. The movie follows his determined if sometimes bumbling efforts to make it to the Flats only to find out after his arrival that he was supposed to have registered for the event and that he cannot participate. Of course, Burt cannot allow so small a thing as that get in the way of his determination to race his Indian. It is a good movie and I highly recommend it.
