Why have an immortal life after death, when you can have it here on Earth? |
Saturday, October 14, 2006 |
If you ask anyone what is the top causes of death, what you will hardly ever hear is aging. We are ALL going to die and the main cause of this would be from aging. But why isn't this an issue? It kills just like other causes and it is not garanteed to be free from pain.
The problem is that it is seen as the inevitable. But what if there is a solution for it? Would we seek it?
There IS a solution for aging. And it comes from spending on research on the roots of it. It may seem silly but it is not as out of this world as it seems. Many leading scientist believe that it is possible within this century and if more money is spend on it, it could even happen within the next few decades.
Having a longer life span not only is great but it may also discourage some from bombing themselves and appriciate and value their earthly life more. |

Very interesting and yet another dividing line between the fiathful and the practical. I had no idea Alcor was so affordable. I'll sign up I think.

What is your evidence that you can have eternal life on Earth apart from God?
Once again, an atheist overlooking the evidence. Your questions is also idiotic, where in Scripture does it teach that God will let man achieve eternal life in a way other then by Christ's obedience and sacrifice?

jade,
An atheist overlooking what evidence precisely?
"Your questions is also idiotic, where in Scripture does it teach that God will let man achieve eternal life in a way other then by Christ's obedience and sacrifice?"
Expecting an atheist, one with no belief in god, to limit their questioning to the constraints of scripture could validly be described as idiotic.
